  1. Knowing your commitment to accurate scientific measurements, I would like to point out that 26.9 ft is 8.2 m, and 0.59 cm/day is equal to 0.23 in/day.

    Furthermore, given your last data point on 3/8 it would appear that the rate of change is 0.71 in/day or 1.80 cm/day. I'm curious as to how you obtained the results mentioned above, do you happen to have the source data available?
